Tokashiki Island

The weekend before last all us JETs were invited to camp overnight at one of the islands just to the south east of Tonaki. It would actually be about an hours ferry trip from my island, however, there are no direct sailings from here to there. If one wants to get there, one must catch the ferry from Naha. This island is gorgeous; with amazingly blue water (not unlike the water surrounding Tonaki), great reef to snorkel, and beautiful mountain scenery with luscious vegetation. It was a tropical paradise. During the day, some friends and myself explored the reef with our snorkels we had borrowed, while others played volleyball on the beach or explored the coast. The place is so picturesque. Mom, Dad, Myles, Matt, Joel, Dean, and anyone else who cares to visit; this is what's in store...

These aren't pictures of the island I am on, Joel...but yes, i have walked/driven around my island and there is a road. There are also some paved paths people walk on.
